Privacy Policy
Aura (aura-os.app) is a knowledge management tool. Your privacy matters to us.
What we store
Account info: Your name, email, and profile picture from Google OAuth are stored by Supabase Auth.
Your files: Markdown files you create, edit, or import are stored in a Supabase Postgres database, isolated to your account.
File history: Up to 30 versions per file are retained for version tracking.
Conversations: Chat conversations with Claude are stored per-user for context continuity.
API keys: If you provide an Anthropic API key, it is encrypted (AES-256-GCM) before storage. We never store keys in plaintext.
Telegram link: If you connect Telegram, we store your Telegram user ID to link messages to your account.
Data isolation
All data is protected by Row-Level Security (RLS) in Supabase. Each user can only access their own files, conversations, and settings. No user can see another user's data.
AI processing
When you chat with Claude, your message and selected context files are sent to the Anthropic API using your personal API key. We do not store or log the content of API requests beyond your saved conversations.
Data deletion
You can delete individual files, projects, and conversations at any time. To permanently delete your entire account and all associated data, use the "Delete my account" button at the bottom of this page.
